This is one in a series of B&W vampire paintings that I've been working on lately. I was going for a punk-goth look for the girl and subtle yet haunting look for the male. Crits and comments are welcome as always.

This is one of my darker pieces. It was painted in PS CS2 using an Intuos 3 tablet.

This piece is mean't to be dark but it is very possible that your monitor is displaying it too dark. You should be able to see the floor and wall to the right of the image...

Imprisoned

This is my latest painting. It took me 20+ hours with Photoshop CS2 and a Wacom Tablet. I was going for a realistic look with this one and I am pretty pleased with the final outcome. Your comments are welcome and thanks for looking.

Exposed in the Light

This one took me 10-15 hours. The inspiration for this piece was a line from "Shine on You Crazy Diamond" which, oddly enough, is playing as I'm posting this. I've wanted to do a vampire pic for a while and when I heard "Threatened by shadows at night and exposed in the light" in the song this idea kind of popped in my head. The actual pose was inspired by a wonderful pic I found of Lydia Katharine Boehr which you can view below. Enjoy.

Demise in a Whisper

I'm finally finished with this one. This was another 20+ hour job and just like the others, it was created in Photoshop CS2. I steered away from the realistic look of "Imprisoned" by experimenting with a lot of custom brushes. I'm fairly satisfied with the result though I do not feel it is my best work.

No reference was used on this piece. Comments are appreciated.

This image was created in Photoshop CS2 and took 10+ hours. I started this piece as a cloth exercise and then it evolved from there. This has been in my portfolio for about a month but I decided to go ahead and post it on the forum.
